I know you are probably asking yourself, how you possibly can get yourself worked up for another World Series. I mean it's impossible right? I mean there are so many other things to distract us? The Eagles beat the Redskins last night and will be facing the division leading NY Giants on Sunday. Pearl Jam is in Philly this week. For not one show, but for FOUR shows! FOUR! And let's not forget the Swine Flu. Sexy Black Taco Halloween Costumes. And Soupy Sales dying. There's way too much to deal with right now, to focus on something as meaningless as a baseball game with the New York Yankees. Or seven. Who cares right? It's not like anyone has been talking about it.
Okay, we have had to see Shane Victorino in a Dress. And the geniuses at the NY Post are calling the Phillies... get this... THE FRILLIES. Good job NY Post. +1. I won't get into that kind of crap here. On my twitter page some NY Fan calling himself GeorgeSteinbrnr tweeted this:

All class those New Yorkers. And they call us second rate. Let's cleanse our palate as Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt predicts who will win the series.

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys will be performing Empire State of Mind before Game 1. Jay-z has been a staple in the Phillies locker room and the stadium. I mean he is JAY-Z. Maybe we can have the stadium play this instead???
