Conservatives vs. Republicans???

This has not been a good day for Republicans or Conservatives. First, they are dealing with the aftermath of Donald Rumsfeld's apology and Bush's Total Support. But NOW they have to deal with Nancy Reagan coming out for Stem Cell Research. If this isn't a blow to the Reagenites, than I don't know what is! Mrs. Reagan is dealing with her husband's Alzheimer's Disease. Alzheimer's, which has been called the "Long Goodbye", rips aparts families. Mrs. Reagan said, "?Science has presented us with a hope called stem cell research, which may provide our scientists with many answers that for so long have been beyond our grasp. I just don?t see how we can turn our backs on this...We have lost so much time already. I just really can?t bear to lose any more.?

It rips your heart out. I guess it takes personalizing the value of an issue for the Republicans to come around. If only Mr. Cheney would listen to his daughter about gay marriage.

In what can only be called as "ironic." WIBC which carries Rush Limbaugh in Indianapolis has censored the Rush 11 times! Stuart Epperson, owner of Salem Communications Corporation, and a Conservative Christian Broadcaster is concerned that this legislation will not only get rid of Howard Stern, but Limbaugh next.

As much as I don't like Rush Limbaugh... I believe in his right to say it and broadcast it. As hateful as it might be. The First Amendment guarantees that right. All in all, it's a good day to be a Democrat today.
