Supporting a sports team, is like a bad Catholic marriage. You have to stick it out or you will be sent to hell.Staging a protest like the Baltimore Orioles fans seems like a good idea. But in reality, it only hurts the fan in the long run. Baltmore fans, which has a legitimate gripe against team ownership, at least still have their team in town. But with the Washington Nationals below them and the Phillies above... It's possible that the team could be moved away. It wouldn't be the first time the Orioles were moved! In fact, that team became the NEW YORK YANKEES!!!

I don't the town could survive such a move. The city barely survived the Colts leaving and the cancellation of Homicide: Life on the Streets, which was aleviated when "The Wire" featured more murder in Baltimore. Can't they get a wacky show like Philly, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia or The Class?
